The late Arthur and Nadia Stark founded the company 60 years ago. They traveled the world to explore carpet-weaving cultures to gain future knowledge of carpet history and design origins. Their two sons, John and Steven Stark, have carried on this traditional and are always seeking beautiful carpets and weavings from the antique to the very best of new.
With the acquisition of Darius Antique Carpets, Stark welcomes the discerning and knowledge of a renowned establishment that has been active in the rug trade for four generations. Darius deepens and futures the aim of Stark to satisfy the needs of designers on projects large and small, from the traditional to the unusual and contemporary.
